Nicola has dreamt of this, and if pressed on it later, even with pictorial evidence, she couldn’t sure if it she wasn’t.
She laughs, basically:
“I like your trainers,” she whispers, bending over the gentleman beside her in a way that beckons Kanye to come a tad closer.
“Thank you,” he replies, smiling. “Your plaid blazer is pretty dope itself. You’ll have to let me borrow it one day.”
Nicola could tell his tone was of genuine interest, so she reaches out her hand, hoping a compliment could turn into a full-fledge conversation (with proper introductions, of course), “I can see what I can do. By the way, the name’s Nicola. I’ve been a fan of yours for years, Mr. West.”
He more or less laughs, then says, “Call me ‘Kanye,’ I don’t mind, and how about after the show we go for drinks?”
She stares at him. “Okay, yeah. I’ll love to.”
